Like its First Edition counterpart #2796, #2795 displays very little of the rich coloration found in many of the Dragon's Blood bowls we create today. The Dragon's Blood Tree Resin is still infused within the quartz, but its visual presence is subtle. This quieter appearance reflects an earlier stage in our work with this infusion and has become part of the individual character and history of this bowl.

Even visually, #2795 speaks quietly. Its Dragon's Blood infusion does not display the strong coloration we often associate with this material today. Yet the resin is there, incorporated within the quartz from the beginning.

Dragon's Blood Tree Resin is incorporated directly into the quartz during formation rather than applied as an exterior coating. Although only a small amount of its characteristic coloration is visible in #2795, the Dragon's Blood Tree Resin is still infused within the bowl.

THE FREQUENCY & TUNING

Bowl #2795 sounds in 4G# at 405 Hz. Within the Divine Bowls Western Diatonic Chakra System, G# occupies the transition between the Throat and Third Eye Chakras.

The Throat brings communication and expression, while movement toward the Third Eye introduces perception, intuition, and discernment. Together, they create an interesting space between knowing something internally and determining whether, when, and how it needs to be expressed.

At -40 cents, #2795 falls near the lower edge of our A=432 Natural Tuning range, which extends from -11 through -41 cents. Just two cents lower would place it within our Grounding Tuning range.

That position complements Dragon's Blood Tree Resin particularly well. The bowl retains the organic, flowing quality we associate with Natural Tuning while sitting very close to the deeper, stabilizing territory of our Grounding range.

Its fourth-octave voice at 405 Hz keeps the bowl clear and responsive, creating an interesting balance between Dragon's Blood's Grounding intention and the more perceptive, expressive territory of G#.

THE FIRST EDITION

Bowl #2795 is designated First Edition because it comes from an earlier stage in the development of our Dragon's Blood Tree Resin infused bowls.

One of the clearest signs of that earlier period is its appearance. Like First Edition Bowl #2796, #2795 emerged with very little visible Dragon's Blood coloration. Our current Dragon's Blood bowls often display the infusion much more prominently, so someone familiar with those bowls may be surprised by how subtle this one looks.

The lack of strong visible color does not mean the infusion is absent. Dragon's Blood Tree Resin was incorporated into the quartz when #2795 was formed. Its appearance is simply characteristic of how this individual bowl emerged during an earlier period of our work with the material.

That is part of what makes the First Edition designation meaningful. These bowls preserve individual examples from the evolution of our infused quartz work, including characteristics that may differ noticeably from the bowls we create today.

For #2795, Dragon's Blood tells its story quietly. Its color may be subtle, but the infusion has been part of this bowl from the beginning.
