Bowl #2796 is designated First Edition because it comes from an earlier stage in the development of our Dragon's Blood Tree Resin infused bowls.

One of the most noticeable differences is its appearance. Today's Dragon's Blood bowls often display much more of the infusion's distinctive coloration, while #2796 emerged with very little visible color. At first glance, someone familiar with our current Dragon's Blood bowls might not immediately recognize it as the same infusion.

The subtle appearance does not mean the Dragon's Blood Tree Resin is absent. It was incorporated into the quartz when the bowl was formed. What you are seeing is simply how this particular bowl emerged during that earlier period of our work with the infusion.

That history is part of what makes our First Edition bowls interesting. They preserve individual examples from earlier stages in the evolution of our infused quartz bowls, including characteristics that may look quite different from what we create today.

For #2796, its understated appearance has become part of its identity: unmistakably Dragon's Blood in its infusion, even when its color tells that story only quietly.
