[#5535] 9" Moldavite Infused Quartz Crystal Singing Bowl | 4C-38 | 255 Hz

Not every part of our past deserves a permanent place in our present. Sometimes the beliefs we carry about ourselves were shaped by difficult experiences, criticism, or circumstances beyond our control. We may have accepted those beliefs as truths without ever questioning whether they reflect who we really are.

ESSENCE

An experience may have shaped the way we see ourselves, but it does not have to determine who we believe we are.

Our earliest experiences often influence the beliefs we carry into adulthood. Criticism may lead us to believe we are not good enough. Rejection may leave us questioning whether we belong. Repeated disappointments can create the expectation that we will never succeed, even when our circumstances have changed.

These beliefs can become so familiar that we mistake them for facts. We may repeat them silently, allow them to influence our decisions, or interpret new experiences through the expectations they created.

The Root Chakra encourages us to examine these foundational beliefs and consider whether they provide genuine stability or keep us connected to old fears.

Moldavite's Clearing intention invites us to recognize the difference between what happened to us and what we came to believe about ourselves because of it. Heart Opening encourages compassion for the younger or more vulnerable parts of ourselves that accepted those messages, while Spiritual Connection invites deeper reflection on our identity beyond those experiences.

Bowl #5535 emphasizes reclaiming the freedom to define ourselves. We can acknowledge the impact of our past without continuing to accept every conclusion we drew from it. Transformation begins when we recognize that an old belief is something we learned, not necessarily something that is true.

THE ELEMENT

Moldavite is a naturally occurring green tektite formed approximately 14.7 million years ago following a meteorite impact in what is now southern Germany. Material ejected during the impact cooled into natural glass, with Moldavite found primarily in the Czech Republic.

Its unusual origin has contributed to its association with deep transformation, emotional release, and spiritual exploration in contemporary gemstone traditions.

Within the Divine Bowls intention system, Moldavite represents Heart Opening, Clearing, and Spiritual Connection. For #5535, these intentions focus on examining inherited beliefs, releasing old emotional burdens, and developing a more compassionate understanding of ourselves.

Clearing encourages us to question negative messages we have internalized. Heart Opening invites us to approach painful memories without adding further self-judgment, while Spiritual Connection encourages us to explore who we are beyond the expectations and labels we have carried.

The Moldavite infusion is incorporated directly into the high-purity quartz during manufacturing rather than applied as a surface coating.

THE FREQUENCY & TUNING

Bowl #5535 sounds in 4C at 255 Hz, measuring -38 cents relative to the A=440 reference.

Within the Divine Bowls Western Diatonic Chakra System, C corresponds to the Root Chakra, associated with grounding, security, belonging, and our fundamental sense of stability.

At -38 cents, #5535 falls within our A=432 Natural Tuning range, extending from -41 through -11 cents. This tuning classification is often chosen for its flowing, organic musical character.

For this Moldavite bowl, the Root Chakra connection and Natural Tuning placement complement an intention centered on examining our deepest beliefs without losing our sense of stability. The emphasis is on creating a stronger foundation through understanding rather than continuing to rely on assumptions formed during difficult experiences.

Its -38-cent placement also makes it a useful consideration for sets built around closely matched A=432 Natural Tuning instruments.

THE SIZE

At 9 inches, Bowl #5535 produces a fourth-octave C at 255 Hz, offering a midrange musical voice suitable for individual meditation or multi-bowl arrangements.

Its Root Chakra association makes it a meaningful foundation for sets exploring grounding, self-understanding, and personal transformation.

It may be paired with third-octave C bowls for greater depth or fifth-octave C bowls for a higher musical layer. Its -38-cent placement can also guide the selection of other closely matched A=432 Natural Tuning bowls.

Each Divine Bowls instrument develops its own musical voice during manufacturing, with its note, frequency, and tuning identified through measurement afterward rather than mechanically adjusted to a predetermined pitch.

WORKING WITH THIS BOWL

Reach for #5535 when you notice yourself repeating negative beliefs about your worth, abilities, or place in the world. It can also accompany reflection on experiences that continue to influence how you see yourself.

Begin by listening to the bowl's fourth-octave voice and allowing your attention to settle. Consider a belief you have carried for a long time, such as feeling that you are not good enough, that your needs are less important than others', or that you must continually prove your worth.

Rather than immediately trying to dismiss that belief, ask yourself where it may have originated. Was it something someone told you? A conclusion you reached after a difficult experience? An expectation you absorbed from your family or surroundings?

Then consider whether the belief reflects your present reality. What experiences contradict it? What strengths have you developed that the old belief fails to recognize?

Moldavite's Clearing intention encourages you to question assumptions that may have become deeply rooted, while Heart Opening invites compassion for the experiences that shaped them. Spiritual Connection encourages you to consider your identity beyond the judgments you have accepted.

For journaling or shadow work, consider the question: What have I believed about myself because of something I experienced, and what might become possible if I no longer accepted that belief as the truth?

This bowl can accompany grounding meditation, reflective journaling, intention-setting, and sound baths centered around self-worth, emotional integration, and releasing limiting beliefs. Difficult memories do not need to be revisited all at once. Reflection can unfold gradually, with attention to what feels manageable and supportive.

Each Divine Bowls singing bowl includes a pure quartz mallet wrapped in premium silicone for optimal resonance, plus a silicone O-ring for stable playing on hard surfaces. Our bowls are formed as individual seamless quartz vessels using 99.995% pure quartz, with infusion materials incorporated directly into the quartz rather than applied as coatings. With proper care and handling, quartz singing bowls can provide many years of musical enjoyment.

INVITATION

You are more than the criticism you received, the disappointments you experienced, or the expectations others placed upon you. Those experiences may be part of your story, but they do not have the authority to define your worth.

May my voice encourage you to question the beliefs that have kept you feeling small, release the judgments that were never yours to carry, and rediscover a sense of belonging within yourself. You deserve to build your foundation on who you truly are, not on what difficult experiences led you to believe.
