The bell is held by its handle and played with a mallet. Once sounded, you can remain in one place or walk with it while it continues to resonate, allowing the sound to move through the environment with you.

That mobility opens possibilities that are difficult to achieve with a traditional bowl. A practitioner can move around participants during a sound bath, carry the bell from one part of a room to another, incorporate it into walking meditation, or intentionally introduce its voice to different areas of a space.

The ability to move the instrument while it is resonating is part of what makes a Divine Bowls singing bell distinctive. Instead of waiting for the sound to travel outward from a stationary bowl, you can carry the source of the sound with you.

WORKING WITH THIS BELL

Bell #2030 can be played while standing still or incorporated into practices involving movement.

Hold the bell securely by its handle and gently strike it with the mallet. Once its voice begins to resonate, allow the sound to develop before moving slowly through the space.

During a sound bath, this can allow the practitioner to bring the bell's voice to different parts of the room rather than having every participant experience the sound from the same fixed location.

It can also be used more personally. Sound the bell at the beginning of a walking meditation and carry its resonance with you, or use it as part of an intention-setting practice centered around Tsavorite's Heart Opening, Focus & Energy, and Abundance intentions.
